Flashback faces

When R was small, we used to walk to nursery most days past these faces, carved into a garden wall.

The current spell of dog-sitting has takes me back to some of the same daily routine from back in the nursery days, so here we are walking past these guys again. No R this time.

Not sure where the possible blood stains came from.
