Poplars

Although some of poplar trees were felled due to a typhoon in 1975, the poplar avenue is still a popular tourist attraction.

It was such a braw day. I took a wee walk in the campus before a lecture began. Autumn is in the air here in Sapporo. Many aphids began to fly in the air, which denotes the arrival of winter is just around the corner.
