Very Wet Wednesday.

This was the view from my bedroom window at 8:16 am today. A wet Wednesday with shining flagstones and a canal showing  movement as raindrops hit it hard creating circles and ripples. All appeared so dark , dank and somewhat bleak. Then I noticed a rather familiar figure on the banking by the railings. One of three geese making the best of a downpour. They cruised around looking up from time to time.Yes, I did take a special snack to them on my way out .They were waiting .
