Bisham Abbey

Amy's football team were playing away to Maidenhead this morning. They are a new team in our league so we haven't played them before, and so obviously we hadn't seen their home ground either. Let's just say it's in better condition than ours! They play at Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre, which is where the England Women's team used to train and many other professional teams use. The pitch was designed to be an exact replica of Wembley and as such it's like a carpet! And then of course there's the size of it... it's huge!

The girls enjoyed the experience and even though they were completely exhausted by the end of the match, managed to win by 3-2. A really great morning of football!
