Rescued

We had a prayer morning at church today and before everyone arrived I was taking pics of the poppies in the garden when Mr Rat told me not to put the camera away. This young sparrow had flown into the church as someone was going in and didn't know what to do. Mr Rat was able to pick it up and take it outside, though it showed great reluctance to let go of his hand. Eventually it flew off so I hope it found Mum.
In the afternoon we went for a walk at Crombie Country Park where there were masses of butercups and fine orchids.
