Snails pace

I've felt like I struggled to wake up today; my eyes have felt really heavy.

But, no rest for the wicked and off to work I went. Work was great, busy patient wise but quiet staff wise as the two naughty ones are both off this week. There's usually some sort of mayhem or prank going on (usually both), so the work atmosphere was really chilled.

I had the afternoon off, but was booked in at Laura's salon to have my lashes done. I'm giving my own a rest from the extensions, so booked in for 'LVL', which stands for lift, volume and length. Its basically a lash perm but rather than curling the lash, it lifts them from the roots to give the effect of on longer lash. They also tint them to make them stand out.

The effects are really good, I'm impressed, although I will still need to wear mascara for a more dramatic effect.

Today's blip is another experimental with the new camera and SOOC.
I had a wander round the garden to see what I could find and spied this tiny snail on the hosta. I know the tulip icon on the dial is for macro, for I gave it a go and even used manual focus, check me out!
