Solomon Burke was known as a rock'n'soul singer when he came to fame in the sixties, influencing artists such as the Rolling Stones, but this early single shows that he had his eyes on the rock'n'roll market in the late 1950's. I had never heard this until I found it on a rock'n'roll compilation on this day.
