Hungry Heron

I headed over to Wisley today for a stroll around the gardens. My visit co-incided with the Wisley Flower Show, so it was heaving!  However, there were still quiet areas to be found, including the pinetum. 

Despite being adjacent to the show ground, the ponds were also relatively peaceful, and this heron could be spotted in the sunshine on an island looking out for his dinner.
