Happy Birthday Eva

Three today. My funny grown up little girl. 

Sadly Tobes at school and Mr EG not enough holiday left at work to take a day off and a presentation to do, so me and Eva met up with Sebastian and Kristie (aka by Eva 'Fasty' and 'Krispie') for a day out at the zoo. We had to dodge the showers but had a fun day seeing lots of monkeys and 'mingoes'. 

Collected Tobes from school and Mr EG from work and went out for dinner. Went to a pub we knew served early food as it's a school night. Used to be amazing but looks like it has changed hands recently and the meal and service was pretty average. Eva was looking ever so grown up sat on a bar stool with her daddy ordering the drinks! 

Back at home since the big birthday cake got cut up yesterday, we just did candles on a cupcake. Late to bed and Eva and Toby's heads had barely hit the pillow and they were asleep. 

Will never forget the day my little girl came into the world, acting like she had been here before and knew exactly what it was all about. I took comfort in how like Henry she looked. I still do. She is an amazing little girl who lights up our lives. We are blessed.
