Failed!

I thought I would try a 'simple' technique of photographing a drop of water on a flower petal.  Well, before I even thought about issues of light I had great difficulty in getting a drop of water to stay where I wanted it and as for looking anything like a round drop... nigh on impossible. In the end I have had to blip a fairly mediocre shot of the flower - and I have spent far too long trying to get it to look half way decent - 'silk purse & sow's ear' comes to mind!

Some research on you Tube I think on this drop of water - others seem to manage so there must be a way!
