Posing at Fernhill Wetlands In Forest Grove OR
I'm so glad I headed out to the wetlands today -- there were so many unexpected visitors, and it was beautiful in the early morning light. Besides the beautiful great white egrets, I saw a single Northern Harrier, some beautiful cedar waxwings, an American Kestrel, Cackling Geese watching the Long-billed Dowitchers, a lovely Blue Heron, and many groups of geese leaving and landing in the outer ponds.
