Australasian harrier tearing a duck to pieces
Why is it some days you can do no right and others everything just comes together - photographically speaking!
Today I finally after years of trying took some images I was happy with of an Australasian harrier - was just driving along a country road and there it was on the grass at the side of the road. Usually they are so wary, today it must have been hungry because although it was aware I was there in the car it carried on for ages, eating the duck.
Then while I was walking later, saw various birds in flight, white heron, white faced heron and pied stilts - had to put them in extras, since I might never get another decent harrier shot.
