Edinburgh Wanderings

Had intended taking a stroll into the city today, but the weather was looking decidedly dodgy, so a decision was taken to park in the city centre instead and take a wander up the Royal Mile.

I wanted to go to the National Library of Scotland to collect a copy of the new Cinema Walk they've launched, which might be of interest to some of the guests at our cottage.

Amazing to find out about all the cinemas there used to be in Princes Street. But we're in an era where we bemoan the shops which used to be there too - before they were forced out by economic issues and tram works.
