Shepherd's Pie and Apple Crumble
The cider arrived tonight and as a thank you to Nigel and his wife for their hospitality, the use of his equipment and the loan of a barrel we invited them over for dinner - the Shepherd's Pie and Apple Crumble. In the mug is a little of the meat sauce that is used to add to the gravy.
Another dull old day. Wet first thing but dried up a little later. We walked into town to combine our daily walk with buying a new bulb for our decorative lamp. Ended up buying an LED lamp costing £8.00 which is supposed to last 40,000 hours, which at 3 hours a day should last 20 years or so. Previously the bulbs we bought for this light cost around £2.00 and should have lasted 2000 hours.
I wonder what things will be like when this new bulb finally blows?
