Seagull

After our day on Penguin Island yesterday I have started to look at seagulls in a whole new light.  They are often considered to be a bit of a nuisance, particularly when you're tucking into a feed of fish and chips at the beach.

Having seen the way they were caring for their chicks yesterday I've decided I like them a whole lot more than I did before.  This Cottesloe seagull caught my eye and I wonder as I post the image tonight if he may have started his life on Penguin Island.
