There have been a lot of these recently...

...although this one is fading fast.   Con-trails in the shape of a St Andrew's cross, I mean.


By the cross our Andrew bore by the sword our William wore 
By the crown our Robert swore to win our Liberty 
Call the falcon from the glen;  call the eagle from the ben 
Call the lion from his den to win our Liberty.


So I’m remembering when nationalism was the singing of these kinds of songs by hairy men in darkened pubs and didn’t we enjoy it all.    


There have been so many of these con-trails that I’m wondering whether the Scottish Government has any responsibility for Air Traffic Control..
