I went with my friends Marion and Andy to Fowey Mussel Festival this afternoon. Unfortunately on the way their car started to "judder"... Having started and then stopped we finished our relatively short journey, only to pull up in the car park to see smoke coming from the front wheel, which was exceedingly hot! We went into town as we wanted to see the Gopher, along with the Pirates of St Piran, perform. However having been all sea shantied out we called the AA and returned to the car to wait patiently. Thankfully the AA patrol arrived within the hour and the great patrol man - Stuart - fixed the problem ( a siezed brake caliper) to enable us to drive home. He did a great job, for which we were all truly grateful. Marion and Andy have a fair sized garage bill to look forward to though...
