Castle Howard

Thank you for the stars and hearts for yesterday's shot at Pickering station.

Following my close encounter with a pothole it was a ride to test out the new tyre and inner tube. It was a mild afternoon so I decided on a longer ride to Castle Howard.

As I approached the lake I spotted our local school minibus and canoe trailer. I left the bike and walked down by the lake in hope of something to photograph.

The birds were sunning themselves on the lawn and this youngster helpfully added a splash of colour.
