Fading bloom

I know I have blipped this subject before, but I just love the way the stamens of a rose wither when the petals have all fallen off. It's so very blip-able.

I had a lovely visit from my old flatmate, Sarah, today. We don't get together very often but when we do, we fall right back into where we left off. And she is a great shopping partner ;)
