Pomegranates!

Pomegranate trees.....being drought resistant... grow in the Mediterranean area; some trees are very long lived, and can live for hundreds of years! They are in fruit from September - February.
In some cultures they are a symbol of prosperity and ambition....but for the Chinese, they are a symbol of fertility.
