The Engineer

The telephone engineer came this afternoon, bet he didn't think he would be digging part of a field up. After doing various checks he found we had a problem with a cable buried in the field next door, with his special detector he found the area where the problem was, then he had to dig and dig and dig, good man, he found where the cable was broken. The poor lad had then to replace the cable for us. Job done, we are back on line until the farmer ploughs the field again, then it could happen again!!!!
