Capo Murro di Porco

This cape south of Siracusa is one of the easternmost points in Sicily and has a reputation for attracting rare migrant birds in autumn. We did see a blue rock thrush along with the commoner crested larks and Sardinian warblers, but nothing especially exciting. Nice Mediterranean maquis vegetation anyway. It's quite near where we're staying so I can go back and maybe find something good.
