Flower Friday - Pink Ribbon Day

Today was the annual appeal by the Cancer Society for Breast Cancer and as usual, I helped on a stall handing out pink ribbons in exchange for donations.

As a breast cancer survivor I know just how essential are the funds collected,  to support the good work done by the cancer society. I never fail to be amazed by the generous response from the public -  breast cancer has touched so many lives.

There are still men out there who think that it cant happen to them - it can and men need to be aware of the possibility.

My Blip is the pink ribbon plus  some rather wind battered primulas to make it eligible for Flower Friday.
