Avian Artwork

Visibility was very limited by mist and low clouds this morning as we packed up to return home, but the rain had stopped and we managed to get an hour of pétanque before it was time to drive to the ferry dock.

I took this iPhone grab shot through the window of the van as the ferry pulled into the dock at Anacortes. The cormorants had done a good job "painting" the dock side walls. It's not a mono shot -- that's just the way it looked.

GGW VII was great, but it's nice to be back home!
