William Windsor, the Goat Major and Ellis

Went over to Dale Barracks in Chester today to support 1 battalion Royal Welsh in a 3 km charity dash. Money raised is for the Royal Welsh injured soldiers. There wern't as many people there as I would have thought but everyone entered into the spirit of the day and everyone who ran got a medal.

And guess what it rained again.

The Goat Major was there walking around with Billie, very smart both of them. Ellis was really pleased to have his photo taken although he didn't want to get too near the goat he was a bit smelly. I didn't really know anything about the goat but I found some interesting things I never knew here, he even has his own army number

Although Paul has now transferred to REME the Royal Welsh will always for both of us remain very special and close to our hearts
