Before and after

Spent the day at the hospital, had a surgery to get rid of the plate and screws inserted into my wrist last Spring.
And I got to keep them as a souvenir! The doctor said I could maybe wear the plate on a nice silver chain around my neck and it would probably be the most expensive jewelry I've ever worn ;)

Everything went well and I was back home in the afternoon.
I felt really really sorry for the two guys in the beds on my left and right, they were both having wrist surgery. I remembered it all too well from my surgery last year *sigh*
