Late laying

Another lovely autumn day and down at the lochan said I was surprised to see lots of dragonfly activity. As soon as the sun appeared from behind clouds, the Black Darters were mating, laying and flying. Heard the rattling of wings on reeds that means the Common Hawkers are laying, usually hidden. Photoed one and then found this beauty almost in the open.
