All change

Last summer (2014), as an early birthday present, W bought me an "Affinity Pillar".  Earlier this year, it sprang a leak.  We attempted to find and purchase a new liner for it, but this particular design has gone out of production.  Affinity were very good, and offered to replace the entire pool with a new one, as the original was still under guarantee.

The particular shape (half moon) we chose then turned out to be out of stock, and we have waited several months for new supplies.  But yesterday it arrived.

Today, we have put it together.  We've filled it with water, and treated the water with some chemical to render tap water less unfriendly to goldfish.  The goldfish are currently living in the water butt you can see at the back of the patio, and I'm sure they will be pleased to get into their new home.
