Help - I'm on the Flightpath!

I started off with some sunrise shots from which I expected to have my Blip for today. 

The I came acrosss this structure which seemed to be a bridge to nowhere.  I played around with a few long exposures capturing the movement of the water around it.  I then packed up and started to walk away.

Thats when I heard the plane coming at me.  It seems this structure is directly in  front of the airport runway. I quickly got the camera back out of the bag and just had time for 3 frames before it passed directly over me.   Didn't have time to line it up properly so wasn't sure if I had got anything usable.   I'll be more prepared next time!
