Last chance to see ....
When I was up at Packwood House for yesterday's effort to find some Autumn colour I took a short walk around the kitchen garden which has been seriously developed by the gardeners and volunteers. Although it is, at least in part, a history lesson, I really like was they way they have made it welcoming for children, with some relatively simple ideas. They have a small play house, an open air low level table and a raised pond with a few watering cans ... and no 'don't touch' signs. Today, after work, I went back with Gill for a blast of fresh air and to get some time together. The main image is one of the flower borders with Cinderella's Coach in the background, decorated with pumpkins and coloured gourds which grow in several places around the garden. Today's extra is the first photo I took today.
Flower Friday - kindly hosted by BikerBear,
Another of Blipfoto's excellent challenges, if you like this sort of thing, search for the tags, e.g. mono Monday, or the hopefully soon to return derelict Thursday.
