Sydney Harbour Bridge at dawn
Another early morning. No need to be shamed by the Bronte Beach oldies again (yesterday's blip), so I headed to the Harbour Bridge instead.
This was a shot I first tried when I took up photography, and discovered the magic of having a tripod and using long shutter speeds. I've learned a few tricks since then, like using a cable release instead of trying to hold the shutter button for 30 seconds (lol, yes, I actually did that, before learning about the 10 sec timer), and that a good tripod doesn't come for $20. Needless to say, the results now are alot better than when I first tried it.
So much colour in this shot that I looked at making it B&W to calm it down a bit, but decided the colour gave it a real bang.
