Eye eye..........

Spotted this little fella on top of our compost bin this afternoon ...I managed to slide this leaf underneath to make it stand out a little more! I love how the sun has lit up its eyes, like headlights on full beam ;-)

Quiz last night was enjoyable........didn't feature again though:-( we always do well but there are one or two teams with 6/8/10 members that always seem to win these days. It's fun, so that's all that matters really.

Youngest son called to see us this morning, he's off work at the moment, so whilst his wife was working he came for a few hours.....so his mum could feed him too ;-)

We've done quite a bit of tidying up in the back garden today, hub cut th front lawn too. No action yet on mouse gate in the garage!

I made an aubergine, onion, tomatoe and cheese bake this afternoon to go with chicken cordon blue for dinner.....very tasty!

Sis sent me a picture of mums face today.....it's a real mess now, bruised from hairline to chin, two black eyes, grazed forehead, cheek and bridge of her nose......it's starting to turn yellow and green now :-( she is fine in herself though.
