Masters with Merit

Got a wee call from my whooping but very emotional daughter just after her class left today, to tell me she'd passed her Masters in Education with Merit. It has been a difficult journey for her which included an unplanned disruption with an early and poorly baby arriving just after she started. Busy mum, full time teacher and always up to something.... She still found time to study.
At times we've chatted long and hard when she felt like throwing in the towel. A big chunk of her summer holiday was spent doing her dissertation when she wanted to be playing with her toddler. Her hubby was her best supporter.
She has guts, dedication and true grit, as well as brains.
Needless to say, today I am one proud mum.
