How is your daddy making me free? By fighting in Afghanistan in a war with no reason? By bombing Libya into anarchy? By threatening other nations in the Middle East? By killing and maiming innocent civilians?

And does his freedom allow me to to be saddened by his farcical Highway of Heroes? To despair at the way Canada is, like our western allies, becoming a surveillance state? To see military budgets expand and jobs and pensions slashed?

Does his freedom allow me to say, To Hell With Your War? With Your Military? With Your Lies? With You? And With Your Platitudes?

I didn't think so.
