Beanfieds

The beans are just beginning to mature. In the field beyond the road, where the utility pole is, they are all yellow. In the nearer field many are still green. It is interesting that the green and yellow are in such marked lines, maybe different soil conditions? This field is always very wet in the spring and is late planting. It will be a few weeks before these beans are harvested. The plants have to be completely yellow and dried out.
