Disappearing Edinburgh

I realised as i walked up North Bridge this morning that in a year's time the rising New Waverley hotels will break the line of sight to the sea.

If the council does allow the building of the 'twa lugs' onto the RHS on the hill, that too will almost disappear.

Offscreen to the left, meanwhile, the 'walnut whip' will be sending its ludicrous ribbon skywards.
