Bare Banks

The dog and I visited tracks we have not walked on for several months. It was interesting to observe the quite extensive river works that have been carried out to repair flood damage and to prevent further damage. Here, near the Meadowbank Station bridge, the true right bank remains in its tree-ed state whereas the true left bank has been denuded. If we get some decent rain it will not take long for vegetation to grow back.
