I can see clearly now the fringe has gone

Having a haircut when you're a wriggly little five (almost six) year old is not an easy task. For instance, you have to sit in an exciting high up chair with a robe thing tied round you! Add to that the fact there's a mirror in front of you so you can examine everything that's going on along with a lady that never stops talking to you. Well! Who could possibly sit still through all that?
We did school shoe shopping, haircut and tea at Asda cafe before gymnastics today. Bit of a rush but hey ho! Seems the boy is going to be a giant! Not yet six and he's out of 'ickle sizes and into a 1! They look enormous! They are enormous for goodness sakes. I think we'll have a go at a bit of gel in the hair tomorrow. See if it looks less severe.
