Penny Boarding

James wanted to penny board to school this morning.
Issue 1: he doesn't have a penny board, but Amy does! So a bit of detailed negotiation was needed over breakfast before she agreed!
Issue 2: James is never ready in the morning and we often end up walking VERY fast to ensure we're not late. So knowing this was going to take far longer than walking we would have to leave much earlier. Amazingly he was ready and waiting for me.

He surprised me by being far more competent than expected. In fact we were at school before the gates opened... that has never happened before! I feel there may be a new addition to James's Christmas list in the coming days (yes he has written it already!!)
