The Coos Farewell

Last day at our lovely holiday home and the cows in the field opposite appeared out of the morning mist to say goodbye:-)

A lovely lunch with friends in west Sussex and then it was on to the motorways to reach our daughter and son in law's house. We were through the Dartford Tunnel within an hour of setting out, in spite of nose to tail traffic, so we thought we were in luck!

However, an accident on the A12 blocked the road for over an hour and a half, so the journey took twice as long as planned. Seems to be the norm for a Friday round here!

Lovely to see J & M again and to admire all the changes to their house since we were last there. It's been an 18 month saga to get all the work done, but the end is in sight now:-). We all went into Ipswich for a wonderful meal at their favourite Thai restaurant and a great evening was only spoiled by the parking ticket my son in law collected:-(
