The writer's room

I have spent the day reading agenda papers for the two day meeting coming up next week. Meant that I couldn't do anything to help C move house from Arch Hill out to Swanson. Late this afternoon, I got a phone call to ask me to join them all for the evening.

Did a bit of grocery shopping and then went out with a nice Italian red to celebrate the move.The other grandmother cooked a simple meal and we all relaxed.

The photo was taken from the doorway into the inner of the two small rooms occupying half of what once was a double garage. C has already set up her desk and chair, filing cabinet, and bookshelf. All set for writing, and (unfortunately what will be more frequent) marking history essays. Still a lot to do, but it looks like a home already.
