ADVENTURE PART 1

Today did not go as planned but has turned into an adventure.....
Left home at 11 to head for our weekend to Cambridge with friends and family. O and M were to join us on Saturday.

The Rev wanted to go via Ely (where he went for his church selection interview years ago....seemed appropriate at the moment). We picked up some lunch and did a bit of browsing. He treated me to a beautiful necklace. Then we drove to the hotel in Cambridge only to discover we've got the wrong weekend. Very upset Rev, quick call home to tell them not to buy train tickets for Saturday and hit booking.com for a place to place to stay.
Shear coincidence.....booked into Anstey Hall which featured on last weeks Four in a Bed on channel 4. It was weirdly amazing then and is now. La-de-da fabulous!!!

HAPPY....for a evening mile walk back in time to an old village pub in Granchester (yes where they filmed the show)....stumbled back a bit tipsy in the pitch black!!! Gosh it's so dark in the country.
