Turning Trees

Felt like a proper Autumn morning when l woke up. Feeling a lot better but now Mr P's got it and Kitty is still ill.
She was disappointed not to be running in the Wharfedale Schools Cross Country, the first of the season, but the older two ran.
I went along to support and it was the usual mayhem of parents running alongside screaming at their children to 'sprint!' or other unhelpful suggestions when the poor kids were running as fast as they could.
The girls both ran well, it's good to see them doing a wide range of activities and enjoying them.
In between races l walked down to the river and enjoyed looking at the trees in various stages of turning from green to the autumnal tones that you can see here.
