Living Fossil

Dragonflies lived in the times of the dinosaurs and have made for many a fascinating fossil in stone. This dragonfly is very much alive and was sunning itself on some concrete thus giving a similar sort of impression. It is an Autumn Meadowhawk and there are tons of them around right now despite the cool weather.
