I volunteered as a "swinger" at an Artprize piece Higher Ground. It was an old convent where there up to 9 volunteer women swing wearing white dresses and red shoes. It represented the space and the women who lived there going "back and forth contemplating there lives." Plus it was whimsical and elicited lots of opinions from folks. I don't know when swinging became so physically challenging. . .
