Sunday afternoon

I have been noticing the light falling on these new plantings every time I drove home, and finally got to walk down past the new development this Sunday afternoon. It is now past the shortest day, but the sun is still pale and the southerly cool. The cold and early dark feel better now we know we are heading to the light.
