Conkers Bonkers
When I were a lad, you'd never see this. Conkers were usually hacked off the trees with a pile of detritus below - leaves, twigs, conker cases - all the result of youthful attempts to get hands on the dark brown trophies that would give the opportunity to take part in the year's playground championship.
Sadly, kids nowadays don't seem to be interested in such matters - I assume they have either been frightened off by the much-trumpeted "dangers" of a conkers fight, or else are too busy at home with their Playstations or X-Boxes.
Kids - get out there and grab a bit of real fun!
