Cheeky chap
We used to get excited when a squirrel appeared in our garden, but over the last couple of years, it is rare not to see a squirrel anytime we look out of the window. There appears to be a 'family' of about six, who, although not resident in the garden, spend most of the day there. We are beginning to be able to tell them apart! They used to be content raiding the bird feeders, but now they readily dig in my plant pots and flowerbeds. I have had to put 'protection' over all my spring bulb containers, of which there are many. They have also mastered two ways of getting the nuts from the 'squirrel proof' feeder, one of which involves using a hanging basket as a swing! They are indeed highly resourceful and highly entertaining.
