Just fishin'
Went to Helensburgh today and had a tour of Hill House, the house designed by the architect Charles Rennie MacIntosh for the Blackie family. I am always amazed at the modernity of it considering it was built in the early twentieth century when everything was Victorian design. It even now looks very modern and fresh and the play of light in the drawing room is stunning. I have added an extra photo of the exterior as no photography is allowed in the interior.
We returned home via Balloch and stopped at Duck Bay for a coffee. I saw these fishermen which seem to be a new feature, and liked the view toward the cloud covered summit of Ben Lomond.
It was a nice day, but cloudy and the sun didn't appear.
Thanks for all the stars and hearts, putting this picture in the Popular pages .......
