De-cluttering
This giant whelk, bought as a souvenir in the Caribbean, escaped my de-clutteirng bonanza today simply because I thought it might make a blip.
Twenty-odd books were not so lucky. With bookshelves overflowing some had to go. Moreover, once I started it turned out to be surprisingly easy to break the emotional chain holding me to these books because I knew they were all available online.
The Oxford dictionary was the first to hit the charity bin. Who uses a physical dictionary now when you have the ease of the internet atyour fingertips?
